About Carlos Vives

Carlos Vives is a Colombian icon with over 20 million records sold, billions of streams, and a 30-year career that revolutionized Latin music by blending traditional vallenato with pop and rock. He’s earned 18 Latin GRAMMY® Awards, 2 GRAMMY® Awards, and was named Latin GRAMMY® Person of the Year in 2024. In 2023, he released the GRAMMY®-nominated Escalona: Nunca Se Había Grabado Así, and collaborated with Juanes on Las Mujeres. His “El Tour de los 30” sold out over 20 shows, culminating in a historic concert in Bogotá.

Vives was inducted into the Billboard Latin Music Hall of Fame in 2020 and named a Premios Juventud “Agent of Change” in 2025. He also contributed to Telemundo’s 2026 World Cup anthem Somos Más. Beyond music, he founded Tras La Perla for sustainable development and the Río Grande Music School to nurture Colombian culture. He owns Cumbia House, a cultural venue in Colombia, and continues to inspire with his motto: “united in diversity.”

            -For most events, doors open approximately 1 hour prior to the event start time. All patrons entering the facility are subject to search and inspection.

To reduce contact with guest belongings and expedite entry into Smart Financial Centre, Small clutch bags or purses do not have to be clear but cannot exceed 4.5″x6.5". Clear bags should not exceed 12"x6"x12". Medical or parenting bags are permitted at the venue and will be addressed on a case-by-case basis and subject to search. - Children ages 2 & up must have a ticket.
- Seat 1 in Section 105 is NOT an aisle seat. High-numbered end seats in 101 are NOT aisle seats.
- Seats in the ADA section, labeled WC are removable cushioned folding chairs.
- Sections 101 and 105 start on the floor and elevate up to the 2nd floor.
